Cat's Claw
Harvested with environmental consciousness; only the inner bark is used
Cat's Claw or Una de gato
(Uncaria tomentosa) is an herb that grows wild in the highlands
of the Peruvian Amazon. The native Ashanica Indians of Peru have used
the inner bark of Cat's claw for possibly thousands of years for a
variety of health problems involving the immune system and the digestive
system.
More recently research in Europe and China have identified the
alkaloid compounds in cat's claw and found them to possess antioxidant
properties as well as being potentially beneficial for regulating
inflammatory processes, microbial imbalances, compromised immunity, and
gastrointestinal disorders. Our cat's claw is harvested with
environmental consciousness and only the inner bark is used.* (565 mg - 60 capsules)
