Designed to enhance brain function and support memory |
A
nutritional formula designed to enhance brain function and support
memory. The nutrients contained within increase blood circulation, some
of them cross the blood-brain barrier to support neurotransmitter
production and neurological function, as well as cellular regeneration
of brain tissue. * L-glutamine is a precursor of GABA, an antidepressant
neurotransmitter. It readily crosses the blood brain barrier as does
acetyl-l-carnitine which upregulates nerve growth factor supporting the
regulation of neurological function. Phosphatidylserine is used by the
body to regenerate damaged neurons and support general neurotransmitter
tone. * Choline, DMAE and phosphatidylcholine enhance mental functions
associated with learning and memory. Thiamine, TTFD, calcium
pantothenate, and vitamin B12 possess cofactor properties having an
affect on memory, fatigue and mood. Riboflavin and pyridoxal-5-phosphate
assist in amino acid metabolism and enzyme production, critical to
neurotransmitter production. Ginkgo biloba, Korean ginseng and Siberian
ginseng add increased circulation as well as being complementary to the
actions of the other nutrients in the formula.*

Most nutritional supplements have adjunctive,
'sister' products that work powerfully to
enhance the effect of one another. Here are
our recommendations for complementary items
to enhance the effect of BrainAid: |

Phyllanthus Complex
Phyllanthus amarus is an Indian herb that has been used for more
than two thousand years by Ayurvedic practitioners in support of the
liver. The active constituents contained in Phyllanthus have been shown
to inhibit the surface antigens of some viruses. Milk thistle seeds (Silybum
marianum) contains flavonoids that exhibit a hepatoprotective
effect, as well as being involved in phase II liver detoxification by
preventing the depletion of glutathione. Dandelion root (Leontodon
taraxacum) has been used worldwide in the support of liver and
gallbladder function. The
body uses Dandelion root to
increase the production of bile
in the liver and in supporting
its release from the
gallbladder.* Dandelion is
believed to have originated in
Central Asia where it was used
as a liver "tonic".*

Active Liquid Minerals
Deficiencies and depletions
in these vital nutrients can and do contribute to many of today's
challenging physical, mental and emotional imbalances. This fundamental
biologic truth has been validated countless times in my many years of clinical practice.
Even if you do not suffer from frank illness,
you'll likely notice rapid positive enhancements in
your well-being, vitality and energy levels - when you replenish
yourself with appropriate types and amounts trace elements and
minerals.* ( 8 fluid ounce - 250 ml, ionic

N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine
An antioxidant closely related to L-cysteine, being
its acetyl derivative. Cysteine
is important for homeostasis,
being a key antioxidant, a
glutathione precursor, and a
natural source of sulfur for
metabolism. Yet L-cysteine is
unstable, and can become
degraded while being absorbed.
N-Acetyl Cysteine, on the other
hand, is more stable than
L-cysteine and conveniently
becomes converted into
L-cysteine after being absorbed.
Thus NAC taken orally will raise
blood and tissue cysteine
levels. As a dietary supplement,
NAC is therefore a highly
attractive alternative to
L-cysteine. NAC can also be used
in place of L-cysteine as an
adjunct to the original AntiOx.
